Seasonal Winter Tulips

From the end of December through early June, I succession plant and harvest thousands of hydroponically and soil grown tulips and daffodils.

Although this process of forcing tulips and hydroponic techniques allows me to control many variables, mother nature may sometimes have other plans. Flower growing is a great practice in letting go of control and I appreciate the understanding that things may not always be “on time” or fit a planned schedule.

That being said - I’m so excited to get ready to launch year 2 of a tulip subscription in Cordova:

Winter Tulip Club

Winter Tulip Club provides 6 beautiful specialty tulip bouquets throughout the winter season: December 2025 - May 2026. This year you’ll receive a pre-paid punch card and can redeem your 6 bouquets whenever tulips are blooming! This will provide more flexibility on when and how many bouquets you want throughout the winter.

The 2026 Winter Tulip Club is for Cordova residents only. Limited number of spots this year. Once it is sold out that’s it - but there will be many chances to get your hands on fresh Cordova flowers throughout the winter at the Kicker Room Blooms shop during regular flower hours/holidays.

Local Blooms Year-Round

In addition to winter tulips, Kicker Room Blooms locally grows: amaryllis, daffodils, hyacinth, alliums, ranunculus, gladiolus, crocuses, garlic, and is ever expanding.

Want to give the joy of fresh flowers? Kicker Room Blooms crafts bouquets and arrangements for special occasions and holidays using as many Cordova and Alaska grown flowers as seasonally possible. Email with special requests!

Kicker Room Blooms supports Cordova growers by offering an annual fall bulb sale bringing in 8+ types of specialty flower bulbs including fancy tulips, daffodils, crocuses, irises, alliums, and more.
